Election 2006: Is there a reason to vote R or D this time?

Yes; but each reason only applies to some people.

A reason to vote R is to re-elect Ron Paul the Wonderful. This reason only applies, of course, if you live in his district.

A reason to vote D is to elect Bob Casey as Pennsylvania Senator. This reason only applies, of course, to those that live in Penna.

Is Ron Paul so great?

Yes. He is a Republican-in-name-only (RINO). He is against the war; against statism; against special privileges for corporations. A true RINO.

Is Bob Casey so great?

Not necessarily. However, he is pro-life. This is the chance we have been waiting for to call the bluff of the Christian fascists, who tell us that at the end of the day, we must vote Republican in order to vote for life. Now is the time to send the message, that pro-life Democrats can win too, and should be supported.

Will Casey move to end the war? We don’t know, but he might; while neo-con war-monger Santorum will certainly not do so.

From the standpoint of playing the odds, the choice is therefore clear.
