It is 1984 in the UK
Great Britain is just like every other craven and effeminate western nation – only more so. Frightened by media-hyped terrorism and crime, the British have allowed their government and big corporations to turn the country into the world’s largest monitored nursery. Here is an article that shows the unbelievable level of surveillance that citizens of the UK allow themselves to be subjected to.
A recent study reports that there are 4.2 million surveillance cameras in Britain. That is one camera for every fourteen people. The average Englishman is caught on camera 300 times a day.
The once great and free peoples of Great Britain (the English, Scottish, Irish, and Welsh) have turned into a nation of frightened school girls. Orwell’s dystopic vision, though off by about 30 years, has arrived.
An American patriot once said, “Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.” Such not only deserve neither, they will have neither.
(This quotation, by the way, has been wrongly attributed to Hell Fire Club member Ben Franklin. It was probably originally written by Richard Jackson.)
Actor Ewan McGregor is fed up with Britain’s nanny state. He found Africa, of all places, to be much freer than his own nation.

“There is no longer any privacy” in the United Kingdom. The same will soon be true of the US (assuming there still is any).

Jew Sarkozy is trying to create his own version of Big Brother in France — though the French call it, not surprisingly, “Big Sister.”

I’m not sure if the phrase “not surprisingly” is meant to be a dig at the frogs. It may be a better moniker than “Big Brother” — think “nanny state.” Or perhaps, picking up again on Lewis’ Hideous Strength, “Big Fairy” would capture it best of all.
Maybe our French cousins will prove to be the first with enough mettle to resist effectively.
