Charles — neither your name nor tone sounds very hebish to me. But at any rate… I would think it would be rather hard to identify the national origin of tangled up dead bodies, when they mostly look white. They could have been Germans starved to death by the Aliied bombing for all I know. But I’m not going to hang very much of my critique of the movie on the feeling, “those people look like ____ not jews.”

First off let me say this. If you have two eyes which many seem not to have. You will see the photos and film taken after camp rescue. Those people are Russian. I know that many of you want to believe that this is the final countdown.

With that said look really close and you will see those arent Jews. In addition take a look at Andersonville from the civil war in the United States. You will also see that those people were skinny and looked unfed. If you know anything about Typus it might just dawn on you that it’s a wasting disease. The people of Germany have suffered enough. So has the rest of the world through the BS of what is clearly something trumped up against the German people just as after WW1 when they were starved after the war. Which caused the whole thing to begin with. I am a Jew. However the uneducated that get the drivel from say Pat Robertson DON’T KNOW THE DAMN DIFFERENCE BETTWEEN ISRAEL AND JUDAH. If you did you might have some kind of reference and understanding as to what happened. You don’t you watch televison and the ignorance grows. Look up
typhus see what it does. Next time open your eyes when you look at the FILM AND YOU WILL SEE THEY AREN’T JEW THEY ARE RUSSIANS WITH TYPHUS. THEN GO LOOK UP ANDERSONVILLE AND SEE WHAT HAPPENED THERE. Its common amoung Jews to have such things. THEN GO LOOK UP JUDAH LION OF JUDAH AND THEN LOOK UP ISRAEL. ISRAEL AND JUDAH ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS.

Yes I have been out of the blogosphere for a long time. Trying to keep up a blog is very time consuming (I’ve pretty much given up on that), as is trying to keep up with all the good blogs out there. I now have your site on my Google Reader so it will be easier to keep up.

What makes the holocaust one of the most well-attested event is the fact that it is the capital “H” Holocaust. Its propaganda-backed power makes its truth self-attesting. I would not be surprised to hear Schlissel and Trueman a priori dismissing those who want to do honest historical revision as loons.

An interesting question is whether these (or any like them) men would protest a potential jail sentence for one of their congregants who happened to do a little bit of honest historical digging.

What do Schlissel and Trueman mean by “holocaust”? Is there a definition? If so, then I can tell you if I think it happened or not. Right now I believe the term is simply an amorphous one, used not to define and delineate but to arouse emotion.

What an interesting post about a dubious film!
