					<description>Though the movie is great, there are a few objectionable things about it.

(1) Liesl is much too aggressive towards Rolfe during the gazebo scene.  It borders on seduction.

(2) The children, with the help of Maria, lie to their father more than once.

(3) The Germans are caricatured as purely evil along with Austrians who supported the Anschluss.  One need not be a fan of Hitler to see through this as a cheap Hollywood trick.  Indeed, the vast majority of Austrians supported the annexation.</description>

					<description>Nancy - yes that is a good number that I overlooked.  It has practical value as well.  My children are learning to play the violin and I used this song to teach them what an octave is.  It worked too.</description>
